Oy!

I apologize for the lack of blogging; it wasn't intentianal. A week or so ago I was on the computer when a message popped up warning me that I had a virus on the computer. Well, fearing a viral infection I clicked to get it cleaned, knowing our computer security would zap it away. Apparently the message did not come from our security. It was actually one of those sneaky advertisements for some cheap virus scan. Because I clicked on it, it was downloaded to the computer. Even though we erased it from the computer, its ghost remained, blocking me from viewing certain sites, mainly my blog. It appears that today the computer has been exorcized, and I am able to catch people up on our lives.

* The big event this week is Travis' white coat celebration tomorrow afternoon! Both my parents and his parents are in town as we speak for the celebration. My manager and I worked it out so that I could get off early for the event--thank goodness.

* Work is going well. Each week I have a little more added on. This week I am sitting at another scheduler's desk and taking care of what needs to be done. For the first few days I sat in her spot and she told me what needed to be done. Today I sat in her spot and she moved to another area to work which allowed me to figure out for myself how and what to prioritize. Next week I will get my doctors and begin fully working as a scheduler.
